The Vanguard School

The Vanguard School is an independent, not-for-profit, private boarding and day school located in Lake Wales, Florida. Fully accredited through the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) and Cognia (formerly SACS), Vanguard specializes in providing personalized education for students with learning differences, including ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and Asperger’s.

Founded in 1966, Vanguard has been a leader in creating a supportive environment where students in grades 6–12 can develop academic skills, build confidence, and thrive.
