Babson Park, FL (July 22, 2025) — Webber International University is just two years away from celebrating its centennial in 2027. As the institution prepares to welcome students back on August 25th, it proudly enters its 99th academic year with a strong foundation in business education and expanding programs in health sciences.

This year, Webber continues to evolve with a renewed focus on online learning, making its academic offerings more accessible to students beyond the Babson Park area.

Dr. Nelson Marquez, President/CEO stated “I am really excited about the upcoming academic year. Since last year, our Webber team has been focused on re-establishing its online education footprint to provide access to those who cannot attend classes on campus and offer them the opportunity of receiving quality education at a very competitive and affordable cost.

Dr. Marquez went on to say “In addition, the range of our program offerings has increased. We now offer certificate, associate, bachelor, and master degree programs in high demand workforce fields. The choice of program is up to the student, based on their career aspirations. And if they are undecided, our staff can guide them on the right path!”

Among the university’s standout programs is the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, established in 2019. It has recently achieved a major milestone: a seven-year accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). This recognition makes Webber home to Florida’s first accredited Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant (BSOTA) program, and one of only six programs nationwide to hold this distinction.

Webber also offers a range of graduate programs, including its well-regarded Master of Business Administration (MBA) and other master’s degrees designed to prepare students for leadership roles in today’s dynamic global economy.

In addition to its degree programs, Webber has partnered with MedCerts, Zschool, and developed in-house certificate programs aimed at addressing workforce needs and supporting professional development in today’s competitive business environment.
